Hand on The Knob

Your peace Lord
Is ready to take hold

You have the power to transform
and touch lives in the remotest place
I pray Lord, for your light
to flood this space

Your love will permeate
And absolutely instigate…

A desire to know you like never before
Because their hand, Lord, their hand is on the knob of the door

Turning it can be scary
Only in fear do they tarry

But they see the love and feel your light
And are warmed and reassured by your love so bright

They turn the knob and you burst through the door
And their hearts will be reformed and not hardened any more

Softly, softly Lord, you love and welcome them
You anoint their heads with oil
And forgive all their sin

“Who can forgive sins but God alone?” -Mark 2:7

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God -1 John 3:1
