About

Hello!

Thanks for visiting my blog. My name is Shannon and I love words, theology, poetry, and nature.

I am, just like you, attempting to grasp and understand what we are doing here on earth as a people working for God’s kingdom. With that, our Father has provided us with many ways to deepen and strengthen our relationship with Him and all people, and writing just happens to be one of them!

Nature reveals to us both the great beauty and the expansive mystery of life, which I often post about; either through thought or poetic form. I also enjoy posting devotional prayer.

On a personal side, I am a wife and mother of two children.  I love my family and cherish each of them so very much. I am blessed with a supportive husband and two very fun and loving kids.

Reading and writing bring me great joy, and you will hardly ever find me without a book in tow or a thought running through my mind that I just have to write down; a thought left unscripted is a thought wasted.

I most admire: Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Charles Spurgeon, Phoebe, Boaz, and Luke.

I enjoy words–actually, I have a deep love and respect for words–hope you do too!
