Glory Un-Contained

Palms splayed toward the heavens
her head tilted skyward
laughing
with a glint in her eye

Does she know
the story often told
but nevertheless
all too often rejected?

Gazing on the glory of God
she knows,
she knows the Truth

Worshiping, she is in awe
which springs forth
a laughter

A laughter uncontrollable
and possibly, a little strange
to the onlooker

She is not there
to appease
the onlooker

But
to bring glory to God
which
in this moment is
shear uncontainable joy
that spills over…
into laughter

Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth! (Psalm 108:5 ESV)
