Are You a Rolling Stone?

Forward force, velocity, determination

Or strength, power, and divine inspiration?

Constant change, seeking the new

Or moving forward, while staying in place, is that for you?

Rolling stones build no character, they move with propulsion

A rock and cornerstone provide a foundation

It is said that rolling stones gather no moss

without depth and character we are all at a loss

So which are you?

Flighty, impulsive, and in motion?

Or consistent, persistent, and living in the notion?

They may both be attractive

but one leans towards the tendency of reactive

We are called to be sincere and considerate

Then as a rock we must stand fixed, firm, without fear, and deliberate
