Sitting on a rock
Peering out across the bay
I see a tiny light flickering
Keeping ships out of harms way

That light is from a house
That is perched upon a tail
And if the captain takes heed
His safety will not fail

That little house upon a tail
Vulnerable yet strong
Beckons ships to safety
All the year long
